   "Life long learning" is what each and every one of us experiences from the day we are born until the day we die. Life long learning can either be encouraged by leaving our minds open to new ideas, or we can 'learn' the hard way by closing our minds and realizing to late that we should have learned how to learn at an earlier age. Personally I believe that our curiosity is a strong tool to learn about new things. I believe that writing can be a great learning tool. Writing challenges us to learn about new things through research about the subject at hand. It helps us form educated opinions and stokes the curiosity of others thus encouraging others to continue learning.

   Life long learning means keeping your mind active and your attitude curious, and as a result your mind is ever young.  Everyone learns from the time they're born until they die, but some people do it actively, searching out new concepts, ideas, and information, always wanting to know and understand more . . .

   Life long learning covers education and training across all ages and in all areas of life. This includes the formal, to "normal" aspects of one's life. Life long learning gives one freedom and emancipates giving full participation in society in its civic, social and economic dimensions.
   Life long learning is more than keeping one's job, or acquiring a career for economic growth. Life long learning is the framework upon which one can develope personal growth.
   I am a life learner!

   For me it means that we learn everyday, and it doesn't matter how old we are--we can always learn something new.

   There is one quote that show my attitude to "life long learning" here it is: “Get over the idea that only children should spend their time in study. Be a student so long as you still have something to learn, and this will mean all your life.”

   I guess, to me, it means a lifetime of learning. we will continue learning until the day we die, even if we don't always realise we're doing so.
   Doesn't have to be an education course, can be just life

   To me, it means being purposeful to keep reading, and engaging with life and people no matter what stage you find yourself in.  I know a darling lady in her 60's who chooses a new skill or hobby every year and then spends the year studying and practicing it.  She loves it and her excitement sweeps up others on her journey.  That is life long learning at its best.

    It means being observant and open to life lessons. It means living in the moment and experiencing every feeling, good or otherwise. It means cherishing others and learning from their life highs and lows. It means listening to God and sticking to the course that eventually leads to him.
