My biggest challenge was that I could have died before Christmas and I would have left two young children without a father. Fortunately, I did not, I had an emergency operation that cleaned out my insides and left me with a stoma. This saved my life but now I have to live with a healthier diet and under post-operative care until I can rebuild my strength again.

As any parent, I want to see my children grow up and have children of their own before I depart this earth finally. And I will do what it takes to achieve it for them.

Good question. I have always loved music, and I love expressing it with musical instruments. However it took me a long time to learn how to play the guitar. It probably took me around thirty , or forty years to feel comfortable with the guitar. Although I have difficulty using chords, I play my music using other methods. I will never be as good as I would like to be with a guitar, but I am good enough for me.

I truly believe with all ny heart that if you want to suceed at any particular venture you must keep trying no matter how many times you may think you have failed. Actually failures are small degrees of sucesses because we learn from them. The human mind is like a sponge. It always learns something no matter what.

    God Bless You.

I almost lost my husband these past ten years to different situations. I really thought my marriage was over when he had a motor cycle accident. It is a miracle that he is alive. It will be a long hard road. and eventually he will walk again I believe this with all my heart.. It will not be easy. but this accident has brought us together even closer.

Coming out to my family. I overcame it by surrounding myself with people who supported me and staying true to who I am.

I guess I'm one of the older hubbers, so there've been quite a few challenges in my life, including going to live overseas in a remote area with my husband and small children, losing lots of our possessions in a bush-fire, etc. The most recent was when I decided to do a course on my computer so I could learn to write blogs. There was so much new terminology it was quite stressful and several times I was on the brink of giving up, but, with God's help persevered and now feel much more comfortable with it. I think HubPages is great.
