We didn't actually teach him to do this but our cat Moses can open the door to our bedroom, he reaches his paws up and turns the handle to open the door.

It is wild to see. Blessings:smile

My choc. lab brings things to me that I have dropped.  The other night I was folding socks and dropped a pair directly under the center of the table and couldn't reach them. I called him into the room, pointed to the socks and said, bring them to Mama."  And he did.  He's picked up my cell phone, the remote, the regular phone - all kinds of things.  He does not like to pick up small things like tweezers.

He brought me something once on his own and I just praised the heck out of him and he sort of taught it to himself from there.

Molly will tap the fist that holds the treat with her paw.  That's it.  We are lousy at trick teaching.  We just spoil her rotten.  She is an independent little thing with a mind of her own.

I taught my rabbit to spin in a circle before I give him a carrot. My ultimate goal however is to teach him to open the mail for me! See the video below.

This question made me smile.  Our kitten often plays fetch with one of our "fishing pole" type toys - he trots back to us carrying it in his mouth and is TOO cute.  We also get him to jump about a two feet from the ceiling when he really wants to chase the toy.
