In this day in age, does having associates degree give you an edge in the job market?
It depends on what field, in electronics an associates degree might give you an edge at the moment. Later on, a 4-year degree will probably be required, since a lot of people went back to school during the recession.
Having any degree is better than having no degree at all. An Associate degree is typically useful to break into a field, but you may require to return to school for an advanced degree at a later point in your career for professional growth.
Associate degrees are typically offered by community or junior colleges, but some Bachelor degree granting schools may also offer these programs. Stevens-Henager College is among schools that offer both Associate and Bachelor degrees in several fields. For example, Stevens-Henager College’s graphic arts programs are offered at both Associate and Bachelor’s levels.

by Paul Goodman 2 years ago
This is a question aimed mainly at HubPages, I guess, but seems relevant for many writers...I just got the Amazon Ass. email about links and declarations. In the past I've seen other writers include their own messages about earning money from sales in their articles, but I've never thought it...

If you could go to college again, would you get a different degree than the one you earned?I think I would go for a broader degree, like an English degree since that would help my career out a lot more at this point in my life.
