Well, I still think the mystery of Stonehenge is one of the greatest mysteries.
The ancient Egyptian pyramids, existence of extraterrestrial life.
Well, I think I'll stick to history rather than Pseudo history;
The building of stonehenge, there are lots of theories, but know one has really cracked it
The building of the Sphinx - why - how
The building of the Egyptian pyramids - how - like stonehenge there are lots of theories but nothing definite
the massive carved globes in the South American rain forest - why
The Easter Island statues - lots of theoligical theories but nothing definite
Ancient vanished civilizations have a lot of them, including the ones already mentioned and the Central and South American cultures.
Then there 's the more modern case of Jack the Ripper- who was he? and what really happend in Roswell AZ?
Easter Island ranks up there, as does Stonehenge...
Roanoke Island is one of the more recent mysteries, though lots of theories have been proposed that may answer it...
Of course, there's JFK and the grassy knoll for any conspiracy theorists, though I don't know if that qualifies as a mystery....lol
Atlantis is probably the most popular mystery, as Plato's mentions lend a bit more credibility to any theories than the pure supposition of Stonehenge or other ancient monuments with no written record to support them.
Anyways, great question JKenny! Very though provoking...
1. Bermuda Triangle
2. JFK
3. Stonehedge
4. City of Atlantis
5. Bigfoot - what is it and why has it not been caught yet
Carnac stones of France.
Who was Casper Houser?
Why does my ex hate me no matter how hard I try and get along?
Where is El Dorado?
Who truly killed JFK?
Did FDR know about an impeding Japanese attack?
Was Hitler really 1/8 or 1/4 Jewish?
Why is gold so coveted and revered by so many cultures, spanning time and distance?
What sparked civilization? Why did homo sapiens remain "uncivilized" for the first 190,000 years of its existence?
--- There are so many mysteries in history , but perhaps none as more baffling than: How can American Idol still be on the air?
How were the Pyramids of Giza really built and what were they really used for.
(1) Why did Jesus only show His risen self to so few?
(2) Why does Satan never show himself directly to Man?
(3) Why was radar given to Britain (by the U.S.) just prior to the onslaught of a massive aerial attack on Britain (i.e. the Battle of Britain)?
(4) Why does Obama garnish so much support when it is clearly evident that his government is unknowingly weakening our country significantly?
(5) Why did so many coincidences occur to defeat Germany in WW II?
(6) Why do people smoke?
(7) Why do people text and drive?
(8) Why do people commit suicide?
(9) Why do people kill innocent people?
(10) Why do people seek misery when they are miserable?
Why does man keep searching for an answer to everything when he should just be enjoying what little time he has?

What do you believe is the greatest unsolved mystery of all?
by NVRFAIR 13 years ago
I have never been the smartest person in the world but I guess I have never understood why people still smoke. There is so much evidence out there proving that if you continue to smoke that you will die, I mean if you want to die just shoot yourself because it won't be as painful. People are...

Why do people disguise who they reaaly are, why do people lie, is it possible to be 100% honest?Lying does it exist because of that fear of rejection takes over our very being, is it because we do not trust anyone truly. In life would things be turned upside down if you would simply never make...

Why do people continue to swim or surf in what they know are shark-infested waters?Every year people are attacked by sharks in shark-infested waters, yet they seem surprised? I simply don't understand why people enter waters where they know sharks frequent.

Why are people allowed to use religion to justify their actions? Why do people let people get away with using religion as a shield to protect them from the consequences of their actions? For example, a religious parent can kick out a teen with no legal or social repercussions if the teen is gay or...
