    Do you think that text language and/or acronym like speech will continue to grow or fall?

    Or will it stagnate? Has it climaxed? Will it continue to invade our speech patterns and conversations both online and off?

    Oh this will definitely continue to grow and evolve. The acronym craze started a couple of decades ago in corporate and government speak. With the advent of the cel phone and texting, it's given everyone an opportunity to use it on a daily basis. And we're a creative bunch of animals, something new will always come along and 'all the cool' people will want to be 'in the know'. So, yes, it will continue, it will grow.

      My sentiments exactly! I just hope this form of speech doesn't supplant common speech or the english or any language for that matter.
