There should be a Financial Aid (or similar) department at the University that can help. Between federal grants, university scholarships, and maybe even local scholarships, there is a lot of free money available to those who apply. More than half of my education was paid for this way. For the rest I took out some low-interest student loans, which I didn't have to start paying back until 6 months after I graduated. That gave me time to get a job and get settled before the payments started.
