I would not ruled the possibility out. In a universe so large as we know it to be, it is more than possible. A mathematician could probably quote the odds.
I don't know that it would be the same. But I do think there has to be something else in the universe.
I do not however believe in parallel worlds. That would be just a wee bit too coincidental. So I suppose my answer to your question would have to no.
There is a possibility of another world with life but not a mirror image of ours. The one thing about questions like this is it makes you aware of how short life is,
and the fact that we won't be alive when and if they ever discover life somewhere else.
