as an observer of the interactions here on hubpages I have noticed intelligent thought out answers to questions posed by Christians, or thought out answers posted by Christians are quickly pounced on and denounced- sensitivity or no.
thanks for your input... you may be right...
thank you for your input. now. as I stated in my answer to the evolution question- nothing has been REPRODUCED in that theory. no primordial soup, piltdown man was the skull of a pig...
Evolution says life evolved. It doesn't make any claim to know every little step along the way. Nor is it a theory about the origin of life. You are asking it to do things it makes no claim of being able to do.
hypothesis is an educated guess, based on observation. Usually, a hypothesis can be supported or refuted through experimentation or more observation. A hypothesis can be disproven, but not proven to be true. http://chemistry.about.com/od/chemistry10
@ junkseller,- my observation in the evolution debate is that NOTHING been proven- NOTHING-no logical chain of evidence as in other aspects of science.
Evolution=genetic change over time. Has been observed in lab experiments and is supported by things like fossil records, morphological similarities, biogeography, studying DNA, developmental biology, etc. Plenty of evidence.
@ junkseller if there is plenty of evidence for evolution, why is it still a theory- goes against standard scientific protocols....
It always will be a theory. Over time, future evidence will simply deem it to be more or less likely to be correct. Much of science is founded on theory. Cell theory, germ theory, theory of relativity, climate change, etc.

interesting... the evolution question is an example.. I am attempting to create a dialogue... being a christian is not the same is being devoid of critical thinking skills
Royalbkrose: You are right. Many scientists who are Christians just cannot accept the idea of evolution by chance.. I do not think we will ever find a consensus and I am not sure we have to find this ultimate answer. If we do,will it change anything?
'We can prove that man has evolved over the centuries'. Maybe we can, maybe we can't. Maybe God is providing these 'answers' asked by our power of questioning (which He gave us) by divine revelation.
