   Is it disrespectful to wild animals such as grizzly bears to move into their habitat ?
   
   I have seen documentaries of those who have moved into the habitat of a wild animal in the name of protecting them. Many times this does not end well for either the human or the animals involved. There are those who say that moving in and trying to become one with the wild animal is against the laws of nature. Your thoughts...

   A mute question for me as I'd be too chicken to do it, but, a good question, a difficult question that spreads into all areas of sharing territory. Should America still belong to the Indians? Should the Mexicans be stopped at their border? Who is the rightful squatter in the Holy Lands? When, where and why does anyone have the right to want, or demand, to share?

   I don't know about being against the laws of nature but I do think doing such a thing requires thought and training.  There was a guy named Timothy Treadwell who tried to live in the Alaskan wilderness alongside grizzly bears.  Despite being completely uneducated in wildlife biology and taking incredibly unnecessary risks, he survived for several years before getting eaten.  The bear (they think) did it was shot and killed.  In the end, for all his effort, he only ended up getting himself, his girlfriend and one bear killed.
   
   If someone realistically has the skills to get out in the field and study wildlife then go for it.  Otherwise, there are way better ways to help wildlife than putting them and yourself in danger.  Contribute to wildlife organizations, support legislation and politicians that are good for animals, and make solid conservation decisions.

   Yes. Wild animals do not need our help, except when we involve ourselves in the undoing of their habitat destruction.

   I believe that it may be dangerous to do so unless one has extensive training in zoology and the other animal disciplines.   Those who do this have years of study and experience dealing and interfacing with the animal population.

   God gave man dominion over animals so if they go extinct who cares. They are in the way of human multiplication and God must of made it so.
   
   That was the sarcastic answer I wanted to give because it seems to be the modus operandi of most people although they won't admit it. They somehow sense that thinking that way is inhumane but as long as Bears disappear without them knowing how it would be fine with them.
   
   The real answer is, Humans have spoiled the natural habitat of most wild animals simply by our increasing industrialization that effect food chains and causes climate change. Example; Hydro Electric Dams block Salmon migration and without Salmon a big part of the Bear's diet is lost. At this point we may have no choice but to intervene if we want to save a lot of species such as Bears.
