If you want to increase your personal productivity what do you do?

Everyone has a system or secret which helps them increase their productivity. Some spend an hour in the morning in meditation, while others take regular five minute breaks after an hour. What do you do to increase your personal productivity?

For me, I plan what I am going to achieve the night before when I go to bed. Then as soon as I wake up, I have a plan in place and it seems to help me get more done.

Focus on what is preventing your productivity. Do you have a lack of information? Are you leaving projects to be finished at the last moment? Do you lack motivation? Focus on what you can improve on and learn methods to become better at your weaknesses.
Each week, I spend Saturday's to pamper myself and de-stress while Sunday's are there to plan my entire schedule for the next week. When I do laundry even which loads are written down. By planning an hour on Sunday, I save five hours of wasting time during the week.

I am one of those people who seem to need variety.  I also enjoy being spontaneous.  You may  think that with these traits y productivity wouldn't be on the upswing, but it is. Feeling the joy and fun as I work on a list of projects is such a fulfilling feeling.  When I feel fulfilled I can really produce great results.

I take a lot of breaks.  This is what I do during break time:

    1.  Stretch and deep breathing
    2.  Drink at least one full glass of ice-water.

3..Go for a 10 min. walk or longer several times a day.
    4. Meditate/pray
    5. Take a fruit/vegetable break.
    6. Rotate house hold chores
    7. 10 min. of singing/piano

I do other things to clear my mind and give it a break.  The point is, the mind get's tired of repetition and works better with creative breaks.

Great question and will enjoy hearing what others contribute here.
