Is it ethical to restrict certain members of society from breeding?

Is there anything unethical about restricting members of society, such as the handicapped certain criminals, from breeding in our society?

Asking a question is morally reprehensible to you? What is it like to live in the dark?

How did you arrive at racism? Furthermore all racist ideology stems from the failure to acknowledge Mankind as one race.

Over here in the UK, when the cow Thatcher was elected, a couple of tories were reputed to have said that people from socio-econimic clas 6/7 should only be allowed to breed when industry requires it, that is unacceptable policy.

@Peeps and Andrew. The mere fact that someone would entertain the notion of "restricting" others from "breeding" is inhumane. No one, absolutely has a right to determine who should reproduce. Notice, I said reproduce because only animals breed.

Hello I'm handicapped. That's an insult. Those people.

And we aren't criminals. You need to broaden your horizons,

There's nothing wrong with me. If I could have had children they would have been beautiful. Grow up!

I agree. I guess we Are going back in time.

What are teens thinking these days.

I agree some genetic illnesses are passed on through parents. Unfortunately some parents don't even know they carry a defect until the baby is born and they do die soon.

There is genetic illness among the population- death. Until death has been conquered we should intelligently breed and design the next generation. Of course I am able to list other genetic disorders, as well as cancers, but why? Death is disease.

I don't understand. I really don't. There are some people with genetic diseases that will pass the disease on. They need counseling but if you can have children and are able to care for them a child is a blessing.
