    Gasp and gross. but I brought all in laws and wife and promptly kicked them out of the car and they loved it.

    I've been to two graduation ceremonies so far. The elder daughter had hers at the LSE near the Aldwych in WC2 back in 2007; my son had his in Canterbury Cathedral in 2009.
    This year it's the younger daughter's turn at Sheffield Uni (not Hallam). We're booked in to Holiday Inn for a couple of nights and I get to see a bit more of the city than I have before (usually a couple of hours navigating around the one-way system)!
    Nice car ride up the M1 in no.1 daughter's car and leisurely train ride back (she's due back at Lord's on Saturday in the Tours Office). This sound a bit like Patricia Routledge in 'Keeping Up Appearances'?
    Wonder if young Sean (Bean) will be around in his own neck of the woods?

    That's one big YES to this question. I'm attending 2 high school graduation ceremonies, and 1 college graduation ceremony in the next few weeks.
