First, Identify which species you are dealing with. In my area I have several, the only dangerous one is the bark scorpion though. Get a bug spray that is formulated for scorpions (they tend to be tougher then other bugs and can survive most common pesticides. Also a couple of safety tips till you get rid of them
1) they glow under black lights which can make looking for them at night (when they are most active) easier.
2) shake out your clothes, shoes and bedding before putting it on/ getting into it. This will prevent you from getting stung on accident.
3) Scorpions aren't really aggressive by nature. if you don't provoke them they wont sting you or go after you.
