   I think everyone is odd! I have never met anyone I find "normal", and if I do, I find those people to be the oddest of them all!

   All people are creative, but not all are in touch with their creativity.
   
   The ODDest people are those who "flaunt" their creativity and conform less whereas the less obvious people conform more.
   
   Creativity is a risky business, so sticking your head out of the crowd requires courage.
   
   People whom we identify as creative/odd are visible because they do something outstanding, but the only reason creative people are not afraid of demonstrating their creativity is that they cannot do otherwise.
   
   It's the drive stronger than their will, it's an obsession, magnificent or not, it's almost an addiction. It's a way of life.
   
   I also believe that the question did not arise from appraisal of general population, but came down from the specific examples of creative people who are so "in your face".  What do we know about creativity of people who don't flaunt it? It's there, it's just doesn't look ODD. It's even.

   I always think its the 'normal' people who are odd! Purely because, like sheep, they look the same, act the same, and go about their day doing the same! lol! creative people wear their hearts and personality on their sleeves so to speak, so good on them.

   Some creative might appear odd - they may wear outlandish clothes, act in weird ways and shoot off at tangents, but personally I like odd. Why? Odd is out of the ordinary, eccentric and usually artistic. We need odd to help us escape from the mundane, the bleak and the routine dullness of life.
   
   I find creative odd people inspirational. Artists of all kinds attract me because they're the ones who have unusual things to say and wild ideas to put into practice.

   In my experience creative or artistic people tend to be a little flighy, easily distracted and ---oooooooooo shiny thing!!!!

      I suppose that some are, but many are driven to obsession.  There are those that remain silent and are never discovered until after they've passed.  I'm just curious at the strength of the creative vein for all those difference types. shall we say?'

   Everyone is creative in their own way. We're taught to only honor the great artists. But I see everyone as an artist, creating their own lives.

   Being a creative person myself, yes I tend to see things differently than most others , nothing is ever just black and white. I know this is true because people have commented on what and how I approach not only various writes, but subjects on Life in general. I don't see this as negative, I relish it as no one ever knows what to expect from me.... It would be a boring world if everyone thought and acted the same..." Power to the Odds "..they keep the world on their toes !
   Now with that go forth and thank your creative friends....

   Not odd just different. Look at Rowling who created odd characters as a child  that became the Harry Potter characters. Creative people are always thinking. A teacher called me her day dreamer. The character from. "Beautiful Mind" was mentally ill at times but creative with figures. Writers of fiction look for stories everywhere, even eavesdropping on conversations. I believe creative people are more interesting  than ordinary folks. Their minds are full of ideas.

    Odd? No. Spectacular? Yes, without creative people we wouldn't be as far as we are in many aspects for the creative are dreamers as well as doers who make the visions in themselves come to life. I admire the confidently bold creative people who know who they are and love themselves, I knew a few and heard the whispers that they were strange but really they see the world through a different perspective. Where beauty wears many faces and 'great' music follows a changing rhythm.
    To me there is nothing more spectacular than a person who doesn't have to 'try' at being creative but just lets it flow freely from them.

    Creativity comes from the lower chakras. The vast majority of people have super messsed up 1st and 2nd chakras.  So that kills their ability to be creative on many levels.
    
    "They" don't understand creative processes or how someone can think of something for themself without looking it up in a book or online.
    
    The reason I never attended college of any kind was basically for this reason.  I took 1 semester. The class was called "Critical Thinking" I wrote long essays about these subjects that I deeply felt through and "critically thought" about.  Come to find out, the whole point of college is to regurgitate someone else's thoughts, site them, then throw in your two cents like they actually mean anything.
    
    People are taught and enticed with everything and anything to get them not to think creatively for themselves. If they did, they might change the world.
    
    Call me odd for saying that, but I couldn't feel more balanced.
