Which is better: regular classroom teaching or online tutorials?

Now a days, lots of free courses are available online. This has somewhere stopped the trend of regular classroom teaching. Despite this, some people wish to stick to the old traditional pattern of teaching. I think these people are unaware of modern techniques of teaching and they have just drawn a boundary around them. They don't know the advantages of online learning. What do you think? Which one is better?

Online learning is good, but it is lonely. Many like to interact with others while learning new things. Two, three or more could hang out and learn together. Small-group online learning might be the ideal. This will take advanced social skills. It would be like trying to keep a group of musicians together. All would have to commit to the plan.
