    Where would Rome have been if Caesar never took power?

    On a serious note I believe that Rome would have been in serious trouble because he had restored peace after 100 years of civil war. He was quite an impressive man of his time.smile

      The 100 years of civil war was why I asked this, thank you for stating that, I believe that Gaul would've been decimated more  than they had been as well, and that slavery would've taken on a much larger role there as well.

    you've already said "history". So i want to say : nothing is impossible, and anything could happen. Maybe it would be still the same even without Caesar.
