Wondering; so a hurricane gets its power from the temperature of the ocean's water. Right?  Then it sucks that water up into the atmosphere, right? When that hurricane hits land and it rains is the rain salty water or fresh water? If fresh water, where did the salt go?

Salt doesn't evaporate up with the fresh water. It just stays down in the ocean.

Thank you! How does that happen and why?
