What Animal Brought the Myth of the Unicorn to Life?

    Can anyone explain where the unicorn came from? I want to know where or from what animal it originated from.

    The main source for the western unicorn is bestiaries in the 11-14th century--most likely from vague and unillustrated descriptions of the rhinoceros.

      It was a cloning experiment between rhinoceros and horse.
