The month of June is Asian-Pacific history month. Asian and Pacific Americans contributed immensely to the culture and society of the United States. Asian and Pacific Americans made great strides throughout the 20th and 21st century although they endured horrendous discrimination, especially the egregious treatment which Japanese-Americans suffered during World War II. Let us discuss how Asian and Pacific Americans added to the mosaic which is American culture!
