DO YOU HAVE A GOAL?
ANY MAN WHO SELECTS A GOAL IN LIFE WHICH CAN BE FULLY ACHIEVED HAS ALREADY DEFINED HIS LIMITS
A goal may be defined as an object of effort or a predetermined destination. A goal is also the statement of what you want to achieve over a given period.
Goal setting is a powerful process for personal planning.
The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You will also quickly spot the distractions that would otherwise lure you from your course.
More than this, properly set goals can be incredibly motivating, and as you get into the habit of setting and achieving goals, you will find that your self-confidence builds fast.
You must set your Life’s Goals big enough to stretch you to the full limit of your God-given potentials.
Goals are meant to challenge you to do more than just average. They are supposed to bring out the best in you and give you your maximum achievement in life. They are not supposed to be limited by where you are now but where you desire to be in future considering all the resources at your disposal.
Rig off every limitation when setting your goals because if you set a goal which can be fully achieved easily with little effort you have set the seal to your limit in life already.
If you desire to achieve a height in life as the skies then you must aim higher than the skies when setting your goals.
There is no limit to what the human mind can achieve therefore aim very high in life. This however, does not suggest setting abnormal and unrealistic goals.
