Suresh Chopane Rock Museum

Museum is a medium of practical knowledge and information.Textbooks can only provide information but museum give us face to face knowledge, information and enjoyment.Specially for teachers and students it is a treasure of knowledge. As a matter of fact Chandrapur is itself a 'Geological Museum' but one will have to wander all the way through his life. Now 'Suresh Chopane Rock Museum' has given all of us a golden apportunity to see all rare things under one roof withine in an hours time. This Museum is only of its kind in Maharastra where Dinosaur fossils, rocks ,minerals and stone age toolscan be seen.Like a time machin we will go into the past thousands and crores of years in to the history of Earth.

Every year new discovery of fossil sites have been made, not only Dinosaurs but also many more species have been found throughout the world. These all discoveries show light on new knowledge.Even there are new human fossils found in many countries and we knew more and more information about prehistoric man..But most of us are unable to see them under one roof. There are many many museums established in the world on many subjects which give us great knowledge of the past.I knew that only few people are interested in knowing the knowledge which is not related to their self and pelf.I hope that many people and students will have interest in science and other subjects .This will give them not only knowledge but a new way to lead their life
