What isn't – but should be – one of the wonders of the world?
8th Wonder?
We have the Seven Wonders Of The World. The Great Pyramid, The Lighthouse of Alexandria (aka The Pharos Lighthouse), The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, and Temple of Artemis. If we were to add an eighth wonder, what would it be?
Let's start with The Empire State Building. At one time the tallest building.Nothing defines New York then this building. Most likely appeared in more movies the the original Seven Wonders combined. Plus, let's not forget a certain monkey went ape over this building.
How about The Grand Canyon? Who says a wonder has to be man made. No human will ever top Mother Nature. She's been creating wonders for years. Some of them are quite unbelievable.
Back to the man made things, let's include Donald Trumps hair. Sorry about that. Just a silly attempt at humor. I do wonder about it though.
Of course we could get technical and say it has to be a wonder to be considered a wonder. If we know how it was built or created is it a wonder? It has an explanation. Can we explain the randomness of sites such as the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls or other such places?
Of course my top selection for The Eighth Wonder is Earth. Thinking about it makes me wonder. Are we the only planet with life? Are we destroying or planet? Will this planet last forever? And so on and so on/
