I was never into comic books, however I enjoy movies. I was surprised to find out just how many movies were inspired by comic books. Of course many superhero movies got their drive from successful comic books.

Swamp Thing Movie

I was young when the movie "Swamp Thing", came out. I thought it was very interesting, however the only comic book that I knew of at the time was "Archie", in which my mom enjoyed reading. I could never imagine that something as "scary" as the movie Swamp Thing, could be a comic book.

The comic cover displays the Swamp Thing in the process of hurling a women over a fence. That's pretty disturbing. And I don't know how much help the guy is going to be with the stick of fire,I think he's about to make matters worse.

The movie was entertaining. Arnold Schwarrzenegger played her love interest in the movie. Yep...I can remember that everyone was very tall in this movie.

I enjoyed watching the 1978 version played by Christopher Reeves, and the recent superman movie that came out in 2013 starring Henry Cavill, is very inspirational and exciting to watch as well. And I approve of the updated suit.

The movie, Road To Perdition is a thriller all the way to the end. Starring Tom Hanks who plays Michael O'Sullivan a good father and a family man.

The movie takes place in 1929. Because of the gangster seriousness of the movie, I was surprised to find out that, 'The Road to Perdition' Is a comic book written by Max Allan Collins.
