10 Loveliest Actresses You May Not Know: Part 4

Someone asked me recently if it is hard coming up with lovely actresses to fill these hubs and I explained that my problem is exactly the opposite. I see so many talented, beautiful actresses in the films I watch that deserve recognition that I simply do not have the time to pay tribute to them all. This is my fourth installment of this series and I already have enough actresses for another four hubs, but I just cannot keep up write up the hubs quickly enough to honor them all.

I am sure that many people will wonder why I have not mentioned this actress or that actress and the amount of time I have to dedicate to writing is the simple reason. Hopefully someday I will be able to allot more of my schedule to publishing these brief articles that hopefully bring a little attention to those up-and-coming actresses who I feel deserve it most, but for now, while I do have a moment, let's at least take a look at another ten amazing ladies.

Shera Bechard

Some may know Shera Bechard as Playboy magazine's Miss November 2010, but before gracing those pages, she starred in the film Sweet Karma. In the film, she portrayed Karma, a mute Russian girl seeking revenge for the death of her sister at the hands of the Russian mafia. She won a Best Actress Award at the Austin Fantastic Fest for her performance. Sadly, she has not made any other films to date, but you can bet we have not seen the last of Ms. Bechard. If the positive reviews she received for Sweet Karma is any indication, Shera's success is certainly guaranteed.

Clara Paget

Though Clara Paget got her start as a fashion model, she has stated that acting is where she wants to make her mark. Cast as a rebellious schoolgirl in her first two roles -- first as Bella in St Trinian's II: The Legend of Fritton's Gold and then as Charlotte Cameron in an episode of the popular BBC television series Midsomer Murders -- Clara feels she has much in common with her characters. While attending a strict girls school in the United Kingdom, Clara was always the one to get caught sneaking off for a cigarette. Rebelliousness aside, Clara is definitely set for stardom whether as a model or an actress. Either way, we can certainly look forward to seeing a lot more of lovely Clara Paget!

Beth Riesgraf

Beth Riesgraf is probably best known for two things. First, she stars on the TNT television series Leverage as expert thief, pickpocket, cat-burglar and safe-cracker Parker. The show will begin its fifth season on July 15, 2012, so fans will soon have more episodes available to admire lovely Beth. The other thing many people know Beth for is being the mother of actor Jason Lee's son, Pilot Inspektor Lee. Right now, Beth seems to be concentrating on her television series, but hopefully before long we will see her on the big screen as well.

Elitsa Bako

Moving to Toronto, Ontario, Canada when she was 20 years old, Bulgarian-born beauty Elitsa Bako decided to give acting a try to got her first break with a small part in Sweet Karma, a film which starred Shera Bechard who we met at the beginning of this hub. While the two photos above illustrate how lovely Elitsa is as a blonde, she actually more commonly appears as a brunette. As the photo to the right indicates, she is stunning with any shade of hair. Elitsa currently stars in the web series Clutch. Her character, a pickpocket who will stop at nothing to survive, has won her many fans and much critical acclaim. Her most recent film role was in Antiviral, a film written and directed by David Cronenberg's son Brandon.

Melinda Y. Cohen

Melinda Y. Cohen was born in Stony Brook, New York, but has also lived in Germany where she studied at the Film Acting School in Cologne and also spent time in Paris, France where performed in a play. She has appeared in numerous short films such as To Live and Dine in L.A., guest starred on several television series including CSI: NY, performed in a couple of video games like Velvet Assassin, and had roles in a few motion pictures such as Chillerama. Next up for Melinda are parts in two two horror films -- the horror spoof Paranormal Whacktivity with Mighty Mike Murga and the romantic horror flick I Will Follow You Into the Dark which stars Mischa Barton.

Jordan Trovillion

Acting is Jordan Trovillion's first priority, but she is also a successful and accomplished model as well as a great singer, performing with her cover band called The Party in between acting and modelling gigs. Comic book fans may recognize her from her reporting on the Comics Continuum website where she hosts a weekly television show that also airs on TV20 in Detroit, Michigan. After appearing in films such as Setup with Bruce Willis and playing the ghostly Greta in the Lifetime Network’s Secrets in the Walls, Jordan's career is heating up with upcoming films such as Sucker, Highland Park and The Domino Effect. If there is any justice in Hollywood, it will not be long before this spectacular actress is getting lead roles in major movies!

Lea Seydoux

French model and actress Lea Seydoux may not be known to many Americans, but after starring as Isabella of Angoulême in director Ridley Scott's 2010 big screen epic Robin Hood with Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett and following that up in 2011 with a role as assassin Sabine Moreau in the Tom Cruise blockbuster Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, she is definitely on her way to stateside stardom. As a model, she has appeared in magazines such as Vogue and W as well as ads for companies like Prada and Uniqlo. As talented as she is beautiful, Lea is sure to find continued success both here in the United States and around the entire world.

Kaili Thorne

The Thorne family is full of young actors and actresses including Kaili, the oldest. Her brother Remy and sisters Bella and Dani all have impressive resumés and Kaili is no slouch herself. Bella is perhaps the most recognized of the siblings, but Kaili, who originally planned on becoming a pediatrician before catching the acting bug, is making excellent headway of her own.

This gorgeous young star has only had a handful of minor roles so far, but anyone who has seen this Hawaiian-born beauty on-screen has surely been mesmerized. With a passion for surfing (her name translates as "whisper of the ocean"), there has got to be a breakthrough role for this young hottie with a surfboard in her hands and a rockin' bikini adorning her body. Somebody get Hollywood on the phone...

Helena Mattsson

Swedish knockout Helena Mattsson was born in Stockholm where she studied acting in high school before moving to London and then New York to continue her studies. Her first break in America came when she was pegged for the lead role as a Swedish foreign exchange student on the Warner Brothers Television sitcom Sweden, Ohio. Sadly the show did not get picked up, but once she had her foot in the door, roles came quickly for the blue-eyed blond bombshell. She has had recurring guest roles on Desperate Housewives and Nikita while also finding roles on films such as Species: The Awakening, Surrogates and Iron Man 2.

Tania Raymonde

As Cynthia Sanders on the hit show Malcolm in the Middle, Tania Raymonde first gained notice that would be the start of a successful career. She followed this role with a stint on ABC's Lost as Alex Rousseau and most recently starred in the zombie comedy series Death Valley as Undead Task Force Officer Carla Rinaldi. She also has several film roles under her belt but will soon get even more big screen exposure with prominent roles in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D and Manson Girls in which she will portray the notorious Leslie Van Houten. She will share the screen in both films with Bill Mosely who will portray Charles Manson in the latter.
