10 Loveliest Actresses You May Not Know: Part 5

It is sad to think that there are more amazingly gorgeous, massively talented actresses in Hollywood than there are parts for those same actresses, but unfortunately this does seem to be the case. The following ten actresses are all incredibly deserving of becoming a household name and most certainly some of them probably will. But when all is said and done, the awful truth is at least a few of these beauties will never receive the acclaim they so richly deserve. So join me now as we pay tribute to these stars on the rise with the hope that each and every one of them gets their chance to truly shine!

Ally Maki

Ally Maki, born Allyson Matsumura, began acting in 2002 and is perhaps best known for her recurring role as Dawn on the sitcom 10 Things I Hate About You. She also portrayed the notorious North Korean spy Joyce Kim for a brief appearance on the wildly popular The Big Bang Theory and appeared as the androgynous Dr. Haru Tanaka in a popular episode of the hit series Bones.

A girl of many talents, Ally has also appeared as a member of the girl group The Valli Girls who have appeared on the soundtrack to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants among other places. Despite her limited exposure, Ally has already amassed a dedicated following of loyal fans that is sure to grow as this beautiful young actress continues to land bigger and better roles.

Kat Graham

Foxy Kat Graham has been gaining popularity quickly since joining the cast of the popular series The Vampire Diaries. The young actress has taken a supporting role on the show and turned it into a fan favorite character. Her character, Bonnie Bennett, is a witch who uses her powers to help her friends and family. But there is more to this bewitching beauty than this one crowd-pleasing role.

Born September 5, 1989, in Geneva, Switzerland, Katerina Graham is the daughter of a Liberian father and a Russian mother. She speaks five languages including English, Spanish, French and Hebrew as well as Portuguese, though not quite as fluently. In addition to her talent as an actress, she is also an accomplished dancer and a blossoming singer. She has many television and films appearances already under her belt, but she will certainly continue to add to her resume as her promising career develops.

Karynn Moore

Karynn Moore has dreamed of being an actress for more than a decade, ever since she came to Hollywood as an ambitious 13-year-old, tried her hand at modeling and was told she should move on to something else. The Fort Lupton, Colorado, beauty did not let this deter her and tried another round of modeling competitions in her junior year of high school. Eventually, this led to her flying out to California where she has found roles in films such as Water For Elephants and The Devil Within and on television shows such as her recurring role as Harper on the ABC Family network show Jane By Design. Check out Karynn working on her acting chops in the video below.

Kaitlyn Leeb

Until recently, Kaitlyn Leeb was acting under the name Kaitlyn Wong. Since early in 2012, however, she has adopted the name of her fiancé, Ted Leeb. Has the couple tied the knot? Well, not as far as I can find out and both still refer to each other on their very active Twitter accounts as future husband and wife. Perhaps Kaitlyn just figures might as well make the change before breaking into the big time. And that break might be right around the corner.

The beautiful young actress has already been featured in several great films including The Jazzman, Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings and the 2012 remake of Total Recall in which she portrays the infamous three-breasted hooker from the original film. She also recently joined the cast of the hit Canadian television series Heartland as Cassandra, a veterinarian's assistance and potentially romantic rival of the show's main character, Amy Fleming who is portrayed by actress Amber Marshall. All signs point to continued success for this lovely lady and her fans are certainly ready to share her with the world.

Musicians, particularly guitar players, are likely familiar with Hannah Marks' family tree which includes her maternal grandfather -- musician and guitar string maker Ernie Ball -- as well as her great-great-grandfather -- composer Ernest Ball. But it is not musical talent that sets this young woman apart but rather her acting ability.

Of course, the fact that she is drop dead gorgeous does not hurt. Hannah first appeared in the horror film Doll Graveyard but firs gained real attention after appearing in the comedy Accepted. Since then her career has launched her to new heights with parts in films like The Runaways and The Amazing Spider-man.

Veronika Dash

Veronika Dash was born in Kiev but raised in New York City and became enchanted with performing at an early age. The Ukrainian beauty eventually went on to major in theater at the University of Southern California and graduated Magna Cum Laude. The blonde bombshell is fluent in English and Russian with the ability to do multiple dialects and is learning Italian as well. While in school, she excelled in academics, especially in the areas of science and mathematics, but also has won national awards for writing poetry and excellence in research. This well-rounded lady has definite skills.

Catherine Haena Kim

Born in Queens, New York, on May 19, 1984, Catherine Haena Kim is a Korean-American actress who was named Miss Virginia in 2006. She went on to become second runner-up in the Miss America pageant as well as being selected for the Miss Photogenic award. She has only been featured in one major motion picture, the Matthew McConaughey comedy Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past, but has guest-starred on several television shows including Sullivan & Son and Gossip Girl. With beauty and talent on her side, we are likely to see much more of Catherine in the years to come.

Erica Cerra

Erica Cerra is best known as Deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy series Eureka, a role she has played since 2006. But she has been acting for more than a decade and has a long list of credits to her name. After performing in commercials at the age of eight, Erica took a break from acting but returned in 2001 when she was 22-years-old. By 2005 she had been named one of Vancouver's top up-and-coming actresses by Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine.

Erica has had many guest starring roles on popular shows such as Smallville and Dead Like Me as well as parts in films such as Blade: Trinity and Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. With the popularity of her current role, it is practically a certainty that she will continue to find greater and greater success.

Janina Gavankar

Janina Gavankar has had many notable roles including popular recurring characters on shows such as The L Word, The League and The Gates, but her career really caught fire after she joined the cast of True Blood as the skinwalker Luna Garza, a creature able to transform into any animal or human on earth.

Janina's fans probably wonder why such a gorgeous woman would want to shapeshift into any other form, but fans of the show are thrilled with her unusual powers. In addition to roles in feature films and television series, Janina is also a frequent contributor to the website Funny Or Die where her comedic skills are on full display. With an abundance of talent and looks to kill, there's no stopping this beautiful creature.

Sarah Stunt

Those eyes... yes, those beautiful eyes! When you first see Sarah Stunt, her captivating eyes are sure to pull you in. As can be seen from the photos above, no matter what shade of hair she chooses, those eyes are simply enchanting. Sarah only has a few credits to her name so far, but her star will undoubtedly continue to rise. She has expressed via Twitter a desire to portray a biker chick on Sons of Anarchy, a role she would surely excel at. Those of us lucky enough to have caught her regrettably short role as Tessa Greene on the TNT sci-fi series Falling Skies or to have seen her in the film Exit Humanity surely know that this is one young lady destined for greatness.

Which of these ladies do you feel is most destined for stardom?
