My rating: 5 out of 5 stars - hilarious comedy with a unique story and great actors.

Lost and Delirious is a movie about three girls at boarding school, two of which are (unknown to their classmates) in love with each other. After an encounter with a family member threatens to expose the secret, each girl must make difficult choices regarding how to proceed with her life.

My rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars - The story can get a little cheesy at times, but all in all it's heartbreaking, and Piper Perabo's character and acting is profoundly deep.

4. My Summer of Love (2004)

My Summer of Love is a story about two girls who are both dissatisfied with their lives and are seeking escape. Little do they realize, they are both searching for different things and the end result could mean their undoing.

My rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of my all-time favorites, this film depicts a portrayal of the depth of fantasy and the harm it can inflict, and started my life-long crush on Emily Blunt.

This movie is about a teenage girl who has become disillusioned with life and begins participating in self destructive behavior. After starting a relationship with an older woman she meets online, her life begins unexpected changes.

My rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars - This movie has powerful imagery but seems to lack a solid foundation. Much of the film is left to interpretation.

The biggest shocker will come when you realize sexy Alex is played by Madeline Zima, the youngest daughter from the TV show, The Nanny, and that this movie was directed by Jamie Babbit of But I'm A Cheerleader fame.

My rating: 3 out of 5 stars - The plot was interesting but I found myself getting bored occasionally, and the girls' lesbian relationship is mostly only implied.

My rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Super suspenseful, great plot, and amazingly sexy chemistry between the Jennifer and Gina.

14. Show Me Love (1998)

Show Me Love is the story of two teenage girls living in Sweden. After a chance encounter the girls become friends, while secret feelings harbor between them. But showing how you really feel isn't always so easy.

My rating: 3 out of 5 stars - I'm giving a 3 rating because I know I've watched this film but it must not have been very memorable because I can't recall how I liked it. Will rewatch later.

This film is almost too crazy for words. It centers on the lives of a group of teens who relish in sex, drugs, and rock and roll. The best is part is Rachael True (The Craft, Clueless) playing a cute bisexual girl. There are also a lot of great actors who appear in this film very early in their careers. This is the third installment in Gregg Araki's "Teenage Apocalypse Trilogy".

This movie is about two ladies who meet by chance in Rome and start a very steamy relationship in one night, but are not prepared for the choices they must face in the morning.

My rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice love story but the progression of the romance was a little unbelievable.

This is a beautiful story that shows when you have love, nothing else matters. Two girls from different backgrounds find each other and fall in love, despite one of them having a boyfriend. While their friends and families try to pull them in different directions, they ignore everything else and focus on each other. One of my favorite things about this movie is that Randy is played by Laurel Holloman, who plays Tina on the Showtime series, The L Word.

However, Fiamma isn't interested in her instructor nor her classmates, and this turns jealousy into something more.

My rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars - The experiences and feelings of the girls in the film are very thought provoking but the strained relationships between the leads left me wanting more.

This is a documentary style movie starring and directed by Erin Davies. After she discovered some hateful homophobic graffiti left on her VW Beetle, Erin decided to not to remove it and drive around the country to raise awareness about hate crimes.

My rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars - Very powerful and moving documentary but can be a bit slow at times.
