A Star is Lost

The most shocking news this month was the unexpected death of David Carradine. He was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room by the maid on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. The investigations have been going back and forth, whether this was a suicide or murder. Several articles said that he was found hanging by his neck and penis in the hotel closet, a victim of performing auto-erotic asphyxiation, which means cutting blood off to the brain and organ to enhance the effects of sexual climax. One expert was quoted as saying from a article at Fox News,"In some cases it can suggest murder, too. But sometimes when the victim is naked and in bondage, it can suggest that the victim is doing it to himself," said Pornthip, considered the country's top criminal forensics expert. This is all peculation by many experts, but no one has the right information, until the crime lab gives the results of the toxicology reports.

David Carradine was well know for portraying the character Kwai Chang Caine on the TV Series Kung Fu, which aired from 1972 to 1975. He is better remember as Bill in Quentin Tarantino's two part movie drama in Kill Bill Volume one and two. The actor was nominated for a golden globe four times, also directed and produced movies. He also was a martial arts master and produced videos to teach this arts to the public. As a actor David Carradine portrayed a gentle soul, who practiced what he preached. It is a sad day that this man's "dirty laundry" has to be revealed to the public.

The fans should honor his memory by giving their blessings to David Carradine's family and friends. We should remember him as a great actor who took on different roles and made them memorable to his fans. David Carradine will be remembered always in our hearts, minds, for his roles in movies and TV series, and his devotion to the martial arts.

Our warm wishes and best regards to go out to his family, friends, and peers who came to David Carradine's funeral in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, June 13, 2009. This is a time to mourn a true artist and to keep his memory alive, and let all regressions live in the past, and be forgotten. It's time to let the family mourn a love one and to heal old wounds. David, Carradine you will be missed, but not forgotten.
