AKB48 A Top Japanese Female Idols
Have you ever heard of the a idol group (girl group) that has over 100 members? Well if not, i am telling you that does exist in Japan! For all we know singing and dancing groups are hugely popular among Asian countries such as Korea, Taiwan, China, and of course Japan! It is also making a big waves in ASEAN countries, and it even caught the eye of international market! AKB48 is a japanese idol group (girl group) that has captivates the hearts of mostly teenagers and the people at their early 20's or even 30's it markets well to both male and female fans alike. Japanese people addresses the members of the groups as "idols" as it has it's own genre of artist. Being an idol is about doing things righteously in the eyes of the fans and on the general public. They have to appear sweet and innocent with a little bit of naughtiness into it to continuosly excites the fans. The individual members has has their own photobooks too that is actually selling like hotcakes in Japan! Photobooks are essential merchandise for fans as the members exposed some of their curves, beauty, and wit through photography as well as they show a lot of skin on some pictures included on the pages of their own photobooks! They definately has the body!
AKB48 has a graduate member system which means the member can announce graduation and will leave the group to give a chance to other kenkyuusei (trainees) to turn over the spotlight to make her way to stardom. The graduated members can make their own debut as they are using the popularity they established within their stay in the group. The members are also good actresses, they act on dramas, movies, they even have their own variety shows. The group has it's own theater cafe and shop as well. It is located in Akihabara, the shop was a haven for fans where they can purchase merchandise, eat, watch the live performance while having so much fun!. The group also has the concept of "Idols you can meet" wherein, they organized an event called "Handshake Event" you can now meet your Oshi (favorite member) by shaking a hand. But first, for you to be able to attend a handshake event, you need to purchase a handshake event ticket which is enclosed thru the CD single currently on sale. AKB48 has a various sister groups inside Japan too including SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48, they even expand internationally meaning they have sister groups outside Japan which is JKT48 (Jakarta48) based in Indonesia JKT derived from Jakarta abbreviations and SNH48 (Shanghai48) based in China SNH derived from Shanghai.
