Aaaliya's Movie Will Take Time

Everyone loves a good movie, especially when depicted by award winning actors and actress. What makes a movie most intriguing, is when the producer and casting agent team up together, to find the perfect match concerning renowned entertainers.

Disney known actress Zendaya, bowed out of the role of famed songstress Aaliyah, in Lifetime’s original movie, about the life of an actress, and R&B artist, whose legacy ended too soon.

The 17-year-old Disney Channel star said Sunday that she pulled out of the project because “production-wise, (it) wasn’t all the way there.”

Aaliyah Dana Haughton, passed away in a plane crash in 2001.

The bestselling book “Aaliyah More Than a Woman”, by former Time Magazine editor Christopher Farley, inspired Lifetime television, to take interest in depicting the singers journey to fame.

Movie Review

Many women and men, enjoy Lifetime T.V., and many Aaliyah fans were excited to hear that this network was set to release a movie, about a beloved singer.

However disappointment set in for many fans, once they learned that Aaliyah’s parents, were not in favor of the movie. Fans felt that the movie could have been better executed with the direction, and consent, of the parents.

In the hit, on screen Selena movie, portrayed by Jennifer Lopez, the parents helped, to make this classic bio movie a success, in memory of their daughter.

Fans only wished, that Aaliyah's parents, could have been given the same- opportunity.

Ms. Shipp is a great actress, yet when it comes to making a movie about a loved one, respect should be given to family members in favor of their consent.

Hi DDE! Yes, Tina Turner went through a lot, who would have known that her life was that miserable behind the scenes, she is a survivor. Thanks for your feedback!
