Adam Sandler Movie List
Adam Sandler. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Unfortunately they don’t give Oscars for outstandingly portraying flawed characters prone to loud bursts of anger. If they did Adam Sandler would have about ten. What they do give actors with that sort of talent is money, lots and lots of money. In fact, Sandler is just one outrageous temper tantrum or funny voiced singalong away from raking in two billion dollars from his films.
Sandler does this by having a very loyal and uncritical fan basis, many of those who fell any love with Adam Sandler movies by watching classics like Happy Gilmore and The Waterboy in their impressionable years. Since then Sandler’s production company, Happy Madison, hasn’t ventured far from their successful formula – low brow comedy, cheesy sweetness and familiar characters. There have been some branching out with the likes of Punch Drunk Love, Spanglesh and Reign Over Me with effective if not financially successful results.
