Akay47 Fires Up a Brand Niu Day

Brand Niu Day is, Allen Kedea, Papua New Guinea’s premier DJ/Producer's latest album collaboration with musicians from the Pacific Islands. The compilation is a contemporary fusion of PNG pop with Western influences like R&B, Hip-Hop, Rap and many others.

Artists featured in this album include O-Shen, Moses Tau, Naka Blood, Kenny Hustle, Hanely Logoso and Travis Lee. Each artist adds their own style into Akay47’s killer beats.

The album was released in March of 2012 under the Fuzzy Wuzzy Vinly recording label and has 45 minutes of listening bliss.

Akay47 also goes back to his roots with his father, David Kedea, featured in one of the songs “Dia Lau Egu”.

Another of his tracks that is making headway in the airways is “Time is Now” featuring Naka Blood. It is currently holding among the top five tracks in the Pacific.

Also included in the album is the song South Pacific Beauty which was featured in the 2010 Miss South Pacific Pageant. The song was specifically written for this event and is beautifully crafted to represent the true beauty of the pageant.
