The Academy Awards, also known as The Oscars, is an annual award celebration for cinematic excellence and achievements. Started out as private brunch among a small group of 250 artists, directors, and personalities in the film industry during the late 20's, has now become a popular televised hit showcasing not only awards winners but also humorous monologues by famous comedians and/or actors, high profile singer's performance, and best dressed celebrities. Since its inception, the rules and voting system for Oscar's nomination have become more tougher and higher standards over time. Hundreds of actors, filmmakers, directors etc. have been awarded the Oscar, but only a few entertainers have been able to achieve high accolades with more than two Oscars. His animated audio visual production became a worldwide hit among children for generation to come.
