Audrey Hupburn... Her beautiful face is known around the world, and most people associate it with a role of Holly Golightly from "Breakfast at Tiffany's", for obvious reasons. The film was deemed in 2012 "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the United States Library Congress.

No surprise here: Hepburn's portrayal of Holly Golightly as the cute, naive, eccentric girl is generally considered to be the actress' most memorable and identifiable role. Audrey described it as one of her most challenging roles, since she was a quite person, an introvert, and she had to play an extrovert.

Through the years, when her international stardom grew and blossomed: she stayed grounded and humble.

Audrey Hepburn: A Denial of The Stereotype of Hollywood Stars

Audrey's style never changed with the advent of any new trend, she believed in the power of simplicity - in her fashions and through her life. which was by the way devoid of scandals and embarrassing secrets. Surprisingly to many she kept rejecting proposals to write an autobiography, because she thought her life was way too ordinary and not interesting.

Her childhood was difficult, relation with her father complicated and she didn't find happiness in marriage, although she tried it two times. But she bore two sons, who were her true happiness, accompanying her to the last moments of her life. Audrey's son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer, mentioned that they were not the typical show-business family. Her sons went to normal schools and grew up among regular children. She tried to keep them grounded, and have ordinary lives.

Audrey Hepburn worked hard for her professional success, nothing came easy to her, but never felt that she was better than others, just because she "made it" in Hollywood. Even after years of work before the cameras, she was nervous giving a speech at a UNICEF lunch.

She fought to feed hungry children, she lived to help others: "As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others."

Audrey Hepburn's life was a denial of the stereotype of Hollywood stars. She proved that a person can become famous, admired and respected, but also remain humble at the very same time.
