Since the band has formed, they have released six studio albums and they have performed at hundreds of venues all around the world.

The band has had a few singers, but their most recent former singer Howard Jones ended up leaving the band about two years ago. He left Killswitch Engage due to wanting to focus on managing his Type 2 Diabetes.

The band is still currently making music, and their latest album was released in 2013.
