Best Acoustic Songs Ever 2

The Girl - City and Colour

City and Colour has become by far my favorite acoustic music to listen to, the stuff he sings is so heartfelt, catchy, and thought out. I love to play his songs on my own guitar and try to sound as good as him. Please check him out, he is worth it, so much so that I have to put two videos. The first video is The Girl which is a lovely song and Little Hell which is off his newest album.

Boston - Augustana

The song Boston is one of the most beautiful songs out there and one of the only songs I know how to play on the piano. The regular version is great, but turns out the acoustic one is also fantastic. Check it out!

In My Veins - Andrew Belle

It was difficult to pick one song by Andrew Belle because they are all pretty chill and easy to listen to. His songs primarily have a mix of acoustic guitar and piano which can sound really good together. Anyway, enjoy this little nugget of goodness and have some tea or coffee.

Coconut Skins - Damien Rice

So you can disagree with me on this one, but I wanted to put more of an upbeat acoustic song because most of the ones here are not. Coconut Skins has a pretty catchy, foot-tapping rhythm that you don't always get from acoustic songs. Damien has some other awesome songs such as 9 Crimes and Delicate if you are interested in looking those up, but give this one a listen.

Falling Slowly - Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova

This is a beautiful duet that you can just feel the passion they have in their voices. This is a great song to cover yourself or just enjoy with somebody. The acoustic guitar intro is great and really sets the tone as it later picks up when the song goes into the chorus. Enjoy!

Somebody That I Used to Know - Walk Off the Earth

Yes I know this is only a cover, but you could argue that it is as good as the original by Gotye. The way they present it was also very creative by having 5 people on one guitar, not to mention the vocals are surprisingly good because the chorus goes pretty high. I had to include this song that has been very popular lately, it's just good.

Hands Down - Dashboard Confessional

So I am taking it back a little with this one. Hands Down has more of that alternative/emo flavor like a lot of the songs in my previous acoustic blog. One of the things that make me like these kinds of songs is that they aren't shallow and they are real. This is a fun little love-ish song, fun to sing too.

The A Team - Ed Sheeran

This is a much needed and actually popular acoustic song by Ed Sheeran. I had never heard of him before, but this song has some really beauty even if it is a little sad. The guitar is clean and crisp while the words are honest.

What Makes You Beautiful - Boyce Avenue

Some of you may be thinking, why would you ever pick this song. Well just listen to this awesome version by Boyce Avenue because their cover actually makes me like this song. They change it from a childish love song into something really mature and beautiful. Boyce has tons of other acoustic stuff you should check out as well!

I hope you enjoyed my second list of the Best Acoustic Songs. I know for sure that many of you won't agree, but that is cool. Make your own list and I will check it out. I may add some more to this list, but we will have to wait and see. Thanks!
