Best Fantasy Films of 2015- Updated with new trailer for "Pan"

Although 2015 may not have some of the biggest fantasy franchises coming out (i.e. "The Hobbit" or "Harry Potter"), but it does contain quite a few interesting original films that I'm sure most movie fans will enjoy.

We have two live action adaptations of of Disney's infamous classics like "The Jungle Book" and "Cinderella" to look forward to next year. We also have an interesting retelling the origins of Peter Pan that stars Hugh Jackman playing the infamous Black Beard.

James Earl Jones stars in a film about a young girl that escapes into a fantasy fairy world known as "Starbright." Indeed, it seems like 2015 is already shaping up to be quite a year for movies in general.

Moving on though. As many of you might know, every year I do an annual preview hub series dedicated to some of the best films to come out per main genre each year. During these previews I provide links, and sometimes trailers if they're available. Sadly, not all these films have trailers yet, but I will be adding them as soon as they become available.

Also, please keep in mind that release dates are subject to change, so be sure to check your local listings.

Another wonderful review, Steve. With 12 grandchildren, I especially appreciate this one. I think I enjoy the Fantasy Films even more than the youngsters. As a child, Peter Pan was my Hero. (as an adult, I may have dated one too many Peter Pans. LOL) I adore Hugh Jackman.

Looks like Grandma will be busy...not to mention popcorn overload!

Well I wouldn't call this a review, but more of a preview for some of next year's films. Yeah, I'm looking forward to Pan too; particularly because I want to see how well Hugh Jackman does as a villain. To my knowledge, I think this is the first villain role he's ever done in a film, so it should be interesting.

I'm also interested in seeing how the live action "Jungle Book" turns out too.

Disney finally released an official trailer for the upcoming live action "Cinderella" movie. From what I can tell, it seems to be a straight remake of the animated classic; along with a few extra story bits here and there.
