Best Musicals of 2014
Who doesn't love musicals? The operatic feel of them. The memorable songs. The sometimes great dance choreography that accompanies them. Although Hollywood doesn't make as many musicals as they used to, there's no denying that some of the best movies in cinematic history did happen to be musicals.
Therefore, it would be almost downright criminal of me to not make a preview hub for them this year. Sadly, I wasn't able to make a preview hub last year for this genre because there simply wasn't enough musicals coming out in 2013 to justify a preview hub. Fortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case for 2014, so I'm honored to present my previews for the best musicals coming out next year. Like all my previous preview hubs, I basically offer the reader all the information they'll need on their favorite movie coming out next year. Little things like casting information and it's inevitable release date.
Although I do try to provide trailers for each preview, the reality is that not all of them have them up yet. However, I will be adding the trailers as they become available.
Take in mind that release dates are subject to change, so please be sure to check your local listings before checking out any of these films in theaters.

Jersey Boys is a musical biography of the Four Seasons-the rise, the tough times and personal clashes, and the ultimate triumph of a group of friends whose music became symbolic of a generation. Far from a mere tribute concert (though it does include numbers from the popular Four Seasons songbook), Jersey Boys gets to the heart of the relationships at the center of the group-with a special focus on frontman Frankie Valli, the small kid with the big falsetto. In addition to following the quartet's coming of age as performers, the core of the show is how an allegiance to a code of honor learned in the streets of their native New Jersey got them through a multitude of challenges: gambling debts, Mafia threats and family disasters. Jersey Boys is a glimpse at the people behind a sound that has managed to endure for over four decades in the hearts of the public.
