Best Science Fiction Films of 2014

Introduction

As some of you may know, I usually publish preview hubs once every year for my readers, while giving each main genre it's own preview section. During these previews, I'll be providing release dates, cating information and etc. Unfortunately, some of these previews don't have any movie posters yet, nor do some of them have trailers. However, I'll be adding them up as soon as they become available.

Another sad change that I've had to make recently to these hubs is that I won't be featuring as many independent films as I have in the past on these previews. Most of my readers won't notice the difference, but the reality is I've been burned way too many times on some of these previews.

Like most readers, I too have to go through various sources to find out when a film is released. Even though some sites like imdb, movie web, and "comingsoon.net" might give you a confirmed release date for "movie x", for example, it doesn't necessarily mean that the film will open on that date, as some of these movies get pushed back to as late as two to three years later.

Granted, I'll still be putting up previews and trailers for some indie films, for each genre, but it won't be as many as before. Take in mind, this is just a preemptive measure to improve the quality of these preview hubs for my readers, as I'm sure many probably won't even see the difference.

Anyway, now that we got all that out of the way lets get started. Take in mind that release dates are subject to change, so be sure to check your local listings.
