Best Science Fiction Films of 2015- Updated with trailer for "Terminator: Genisys"

Introduction

Another year is almost done, and it's time for the annual previews for some of the best upcoming films of the following year. Due to personal issues, I wasn't able to finish all my preview hubs like I had planned last year, but I promise all my readers that I'll try hard to make up for that this year.

For those of you who are new to these previews, I generally just provide the reader with casting information for each preview, while giving them a trailer to it as well. Sadly, some of these movies have not released a trailer yet, but I will be adding them as soon as they become available.

Take in mind that release dates are subject to change, so please be sure to check your local listings for any changes.

Anyway, it's been said that 2015 might be the biggest year for movies, and it could very well be. We have the much anticipated "Avengers: Age of Ultron" coming out, and we have the long anticipated follow ups to many great historic science fiction franchises. Many which include the likes of "Star Wars", "Jurassic Park" and even a brand new "Terminator" film that's allegedly going to be a reboot and sequel. Wow, talk about confusing.

Too many sequels. I prefer an original movie with an original idea. Seems much of the 'new idea' stuff is missing in Hollywood. It is a good list, however. Kindof a cheat sheet of when to plan an outing with the kids.

Well some of these films are originals though like "Chappie." Although it seems like a modern retelling of "Short Circuit" if you ask me, but it looks very good. Plus, I heard "The Martian" might be pretty good next year, but we'll have to wait and see. Anyway, thanks for stopping by.
