Top 5 Brad Pitt Movies with Video Clips

Brad Pitt fans may appreciate the video clips I have included here, plus the opportunity to buy the movie they relate to.

Brad Pitt was born in Oklahoma in 1963, raised in Springfield, Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri where he majored in journalism and advertising, but left to move to California while still two credits short of graduating.

Before becoming a successful actor, he supported himself by doing various jobs including limousine driving, moving refrigerators and dressing up as a giant chicken for "El Poco Loco".

Fortunately for us, he found success acting and has gone to star in an impressive list of movies, the top 5 of which I list here with accompanying video clips.

The diversity of Brad Pitt's acting is clear to see, and this very talented actor has played roles that were funny, sad, full of action, drama and adventure.

In a career spanning 20 years, Brad Pitt has starred in more than 40 movies.

Happily married to model turned actress Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt is also father to several children.

Inglourious Bastards

Inglourious Basterds

Directed by Quentin Tarantino, Inglourious Basterds is an action-packed film set in Europe during WWII. A squad of crack US troops, known to their enemy as "The Basterds" are on a mission to take down the Third Reich in Hitler's Germany. Unmissable.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

A David Finch directed movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button casts Brad Pitt in the role Benjamin Button. Based on the 1020s story by F Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born old but gets younger as he is grows, this movie is fascinating as we watch the ingenious job the make-up department do of turning Brad Pitt from an old man into the young hunk that he actually is. This story is happy and sad and just plain strange!

Fight Club

Fight Club

Based on a novel by Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club is a strange concept in which the movie characters are people who wander through life largely bored and trying to find themselves. After trying various self-help groups they start physically fighting each other in an effort to channel primal male aggression at pre-arranged times. The concept takes off, other join in, and the whole movement spirals out of control. Directed by David Fincher, the movie is more sentimental than it sounds, although some scenes contain no-holds barred violence, other scenes are funny and lighten the mood.

Meet Joe Black

Meet Joe Black

A Martin Brett directed movie where Death (Brad Pitt) visits Earth in the body of a young man killed in an automobile smash (Joe Black), just before the 65th birthday of rich and successful businessman Bill Parrish, played by actor Anthony Hopkins. They make a pact that allows Bill extra time on Earth in return for being Death's guide. However, things become complicated when Death falls in love with Bill's beautiful daughter Susan, played by Claire Forlani. An epic three hour love story that will keep you guessing until the end.

Legends of the Fall

Legends of the Fall

Legends of the Fall is an unmissable epic tale involving three brothers and their father. Starting right but in the early 1900s, we have familial drama intertwined with fantastic cinematography of the beautiful Indian Reservation near Calgary. Spanning decade, we follow the life of Tristan, the middle son played by Brad Pitt through times of joy and sadness, through tragedy and passion and through the First World war. Directed by Edward Zwick, its a film we would want to watch over and over.
