We all grow old and we all change as we are growing older but here are the celebrities that have grown old right in front of our eyes. Some have grown older gracefully and others have not. It's amazing to see the transformation on some of the celebrities. What these photo's and see who has make the most significant changes over time. Live and learn from these famous people, do what you can to preserve life and age gracefully. It really comes down to very simple things but to see the transformations of these actors/actresses is amazing!

Look at these famous people, some have aged very well and others, well, they have not. Photo's speak the truth in aging. Then and now photos of the celebs that have grown up through our eyes. From Bull to 007, GOSH, have they changed.
I think that Jamie Lee Curtis has shown the normal progression of aging, or moving into middle age. She is truly a beautiful, gorgeous women that has aged honestly by sharing with us her journey. She is still so pretty, she is older and has a mid-section, who doesn't? We just work really hard to make sure we keep our mid-section in check, right?
However, I think the pictures from Piece Bronson, Sting and Ralph the Malph have actually grown older are more husband now then when they were younger. These photo's capture the goodness, how they have taken care of themselves overtime. Exercise, eating healthy, limited alcohol and drug usage and probably no plastic surgery (plus genes) have contributed to their success in the aging process.
Look at Kelly McGills, gosh, aging has not been good to her, in my opinion. She looks rough, hard and unhappy in this simple photo. She was so sexy back in Top Gun. Seems she has lost her sex appeal, but I have to wonder is it by choice or just giving up on working hard to look good.
In these photo's it does show us how to go from ordinary to beautiful, Nicole Kidman, changed her redheaded looks to a different look altogether. You do not have to be rich to make yourself look different, straighten your hair, wear different make up or try to workout. Whatever suits you, but remember, you have the power to transform yourself, update your look, change yourself into something unique. It's up to you. It has worked for Nicole Kidman, she went from nerdy to professional. I believe in trying something new, like Victoria Beckham, she has grown up (thinner, don't like that) but has made over her looks through the last few decades. She has because unique, different and I actually love her look (well, if she gained a little more weight) but you know what I mean, she has worked hard to achieve a completely different appearance since high school.
Angelina Jolie is a very attractive woman, she has had some plastic surgery (nose) but wears her beauty well. She has six children and will probably continue to age well (due to good genes) but she will show signs of stress as she ages, so I look forward to seeing what she will do over the next few years. But the then and now of stars is changing more and more due to the plastic surgeries, botox and many other things I am sure I don't even want to know about.
If you are tired of your current looks your can always try plastic surgery, although, I am not a big fan of plastic surgery, apparently others are. Looking at Kenny Rogers (and Burt Reynolds), once was a very handsome entertainer but now looks like his part time job is getting updated plastic surgeries. What is wrong with our society that we have to fix all of our imperfections? Look at Barbra Streisand, she has a different nose that is her signature nose and she is a huge superstar. I people (my opinion only) people should embrace their imperfections and love who they are. Plastic surgeries should be for reconstruction of what is wrong, not what God gave us. Again, this is my opinion only.
Taking Care of yourself as you are growing older does take some work and simple changes in your life. Here are a few to help you age gracefully;
- Eat healthy - no fried foods, eat your veggies, fruit and lean meats
- Exercise - regularly do strength training and cardio, it's good for your heart and overall for your body.
- Limit Alcohol intake - yep, drink your red wine with dinner occasionally but stop drinking excessively, it's not healthy and will age you that much faster!
- Drink your H2O - it's a fact, drink plenty of water each and every day, at least 64 Oz's a day (you can do it).
- Sleep - get some sleep, 8 hours if possible but shut eye is very important to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
- De-Stress - start de-stressing your life, learn to relax, work and no play isn't good for you or your heart. Have fun, love life and enjoy all that you have. Stop stressing!
- Love who you are, learn to be happy, positive and spread that to others.
These are simple starts to achieving your healthy long life. After looking at these photo's do you want to age with grace? Your choice, but believe me, I would rather age like Cagney & Lacy then like Kelly McGillis (from Top Gun), I want to be healthy for as long as I live. Hopefully, you see these people and make the changes in your life. Because after looking at these celebrities then and now, I know which ones I idolize and which ones I don't. Then and now, it's our choice and I hope you live a long, healthy, beautiful live...start today!
