A nice fun hub to view....I really liked the Gary Oldman and Natalie Portman photo that is behind the scenes of Leon: The Professional. It is good to see that Portman was having fun especially considering how brutal and intense that movie is....especially for a 13 year old. Brando being silly is also very interesting to see.....that shot of Hope and Brando fighting over the Oscar is classic. Kudos for picking an Oliver Reed photo...he is almost a completely forgetten actor. voted up and fun.

Thanks Bruce, appreciate the comment. I had a bunch of photos of movie stars pulling funny faces and decided to create a hub around them, added a few celebs with their pets for good measure.

I like that Gary Oldman with Natalie Portman pic too, and that was one of their best films. Brando seems to enjoy being silly when he sees someone pointing a camera. :)

Hello, Steve. I was trying to comment and those stupid "shortcuts" to other pages by pressing one button came up and I lost everything. Grrr!

First of all:

Cogerson is not a fan of musicals. I am. Anyone who is a fan of musicals will know Oliver Reed from the 1968 movie Oliver! in which he played the murderer Bill Sykes. It is the best version of the musical and airs on TV all the time. Even if the only movie Reed is remembered for today since his death in 2000 (2001?), it is a memrable film.

I love the pictures of the cats, other pets and Hitchcock.

I hadn't planned to do this because I didn't know you were goin gto post cats and I am tryin gto figure ou the best way to do this. Really, I was going to email everyone I know solely online who has followed Amy privately, but here is an option for me.

Sorry to put a damper on silly pictures and you can delerte it if you want, but amy had a stroke last Sunday night and can't be saved. I'm taking the weekend to be with her and say goodbye. Then the vet is coming to my home on Monday morning and Amy will simply go to sleep and not wake up. I much prefer announcing this on a hub with cats on it that on the pointlessness of Facebook.

Take care,

Flora

Hello Flora, I'm really sorry to hear about Amy having a stroke. I know how you must be feeling my cat had cancer about 10 years ago and there was nothing the vet can do, I prayed he would get better but when he stopped drinking his milk I knew the end was nigh.

I think the best solution for cat lovers is to always have two cats, three even better.

Anyway I hope the pictures in this hub cheered you up a bit but I doubt it.

Gladiator is the film today's audiences remember Oliver Reed for, his last film. I always thought he was an underrated actor. He starred in one of my favourite Hammer films, Curse of the Werewolf.

Thanks for posting Flora, always good to hear from you.

Thankyou Steve. When I fel better I will print out your response. When I get back to regular online behaviour, it will be entertainment hubs like the ones you and Bruce write that I will want to read and I will play catch up. I note that you published what looks like the first in a huge series number for company movie posters. They will be lots of fun.
