Who is she?
Claudia Schiffer (born August 25, 1970) is a German supermodel and actress, who reached the height of her popularity during the 1990s.
She began modelling in 1987, after being spotted in a nightclub in Düsseldorf. Just weeks later she appeared in ELLE and within a short time she began modelling for Chanel. In the early 1990s she starred in Guess? jeans adverts in North America. She has appeared in a number of films and music videos. She was in Westlife's cover of Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl," as the iconic uptown girl and had a cameo in Bon Jovi's video "Thank You for Loving Me". In 1993, she appeared in the children's movie, Richie Rich.
Schiffer was engaged to the magician David Copperfield for about 6 years until 1999 when she met Tim Jefferies. Paris Match claimed their engagement was possibly contractual, but this assertion was later found to be dubious by a French Court.
On 25 May 2002, she married film producer Matthew Vaughn, son of George Albert Harley Drummond (also known as George de Vere Drummond). Schiffer and Vaughn have two children together; son Caspar Matthew, born 30 January 2003 and daughter Clementine de Vere Drummond, born 11 November 2004. They all now live in London.
Early Life and Career
Claudia Schiffer was born to father Heinz Schiffer, a lawyer by profession and mother Gudrun Schiffer. When she was in high school, she never thought of becoming a model, she always wanted to become a lawyer and join her father's firm. But her life changed when she went to a nightclub at the age of 17. There Claudia came in the eye of modeling agent Michel Levaton and after some week she was on ramp.
After some time Claudia Schiffer appeared on cover of ELLE magazine. Soon her fame started touching the roof and lot of modeling offers started pouring in. Then Claudia appeared for GUESS? Jeans advertisement campaign. Same time she started to grace the cover of all type of fashion magazine. Till now She has come on cover page for more than 900 times which is a record for any supermodel.

Claudia has made many television appearances throughout her successful career on shows such as Larry King Live, The Tonight Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Dharma & Greg, and Arrested Development.
Besides her television stints, Claudia has also appeared in a number of feature films including, Richie Rich (1994), Black & White (1999), which starred everyone from Mike Tyson to Robert Downey Jr., Friends & Lovers (1999), Life Without Dick (2002), and Love Actually (2003).
Claudia has even made a personal exercise video and is also quite the entrepreneur, considering she was one of the original founders of the trendy Fashion Cafe (with fellow supermodels Elle MacPherson, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell).
