Danny Boy

This is a song from the CD "Stories that we wrote". It's dedicated to Daniel Pearl, the journalist who was brutally murdered in Pakistan shortly after 9/11. Besides being a gifted writer, Danny was also a talented musician who played the violin, the guitar, and the mandolin and enjoyed playing music with other musicians living in countries in the Middle East. Music is a universal language and while quite often there may have been a language barrier, the love of music was the bridge that always brought a smile and created friendships.
