Yvonne de Carlo the Hollywood actress who portrayed 'leading ladies' in genres such as a fabulous desert princess, or exotic harem dancer in Arabian nights type of movies as well as a pirate lady in those 1950's adventure movies. Possibly a few westerns too. Darleen Gillespie one of the original Mouseketeers was also Canadian.

Sorry to say this,but you totally forgot the only two Canadian actors I knew about before I read this:Avan Jogia and Alexander Ludwig.

You make a good point. Canada and the US have alot in common stemming from a British colonial heritage. That topic would make a good hub, wouldn't it.

This is a very informative hub.

There are at least ten celebrities on the list that I did not know were born in Canada.

Anyway, in my opinion, Canada and the U.S. are twins. Not identical twins, but twins nevertheless.
