Feeling Well

by Chuck RitenouR 3-24-2K4

verse 1:

I woke up this morning and I was feeling fine

stepped out on my deck surrounded by the sunshine

it was such a beautiful day, I fell under its spell

so I called my boss and took the day off, because I was feeling well.

verse 2:

I laid in my hammock til a quarter passed ten

went inside and took a nap and got back up again

met the girl on the sidwalk who delivers my mail

she asked what are you doing home, I said I'm feeling well.

chorus:

No I don't feel bad, I ain't got the blues

ain't got no list of things I should do

time seems to drag when you're punchin' that clock

but not today and I'm ready to rock.

verse 3:

yeah, it feels so good its got to be a sin

'cause I kinda feel like doing it again.

do you think they'll fire me, well its hard to tell.

who would fire a person for feeling well.

chorus:

No I don't feel bad, I ain't got the blues

ain't got no list of things I should do

time seems to drag when you're punchin' that clock

but not today and I'm ready to rock.

the end.
