Goodbye Nancy Pelosi, No Hard Feelings Ok?

Nancy Pelosi Makes Room for the new Speaker of the House

This most recent midterm elections has bought a Republican majority into the House, which means that Representative John Boehner will become the new Speaker of the House. Nancy Pelosi, the former Democratic Speaker of the House must vacate her office, as part of the losing party.

Why is the role of Speaker of the House, really the leader of the House, so important? Not only is the Speaker third in line to the succession of the presidency if something were to happen to the vice-president, it is the Speaker who sets the legislative agenda. That means it is the Speaker who decides when a bill gets on the floor. It is the Speaker who has the responsibility of making sure that the House passes legislation that is supported by the majority party. Because the Republicans now control the House and have 46 Senate seats, it is much harder for the Obama Regime to fund and pass the bills that they want to pass. This is why losing the House is such a blow to the Democrat Party.

Below is a spoof from The Right Network of what former Speaker Pelosi must go through on that day that she has to leave. She has six weeks from Election Day to vacate.
