Hijo del Diablo (Son of the Devil)
by Chuck RitenouR

verse 1:
They call him the son of the devil, they say he's a desperate man
Many men have crossed him and they all died by his hand
his draw is fast as lightning and he always shoots to kill
They swear no one will cut him down, but I swear one day I will

Cause I was only 10 years old when that outlaw came to town
he robbed the bank on Main Street and he shot my daddy down
Daddy was a lawman and his badge got in the way
and watching him die in that muddy street will haunt me to my grave

chorus:
Hijo del Diablo your pony's getting slow
I'll bet my life you're never gonna see ole Mexico
and you might think I'm too young. but there's something you should know
I"ll never rest until I kill....Hijo del Diablo.

verse 2:
I left home to find him when I was twelve years old
and the hate that filled my heart turned it dark and cold
I practiced with my daddy's gun and it became my only friend
cause I knew one of us was gonna die if I saw him again

They say he's drinking whiskey in that saloon on the edge of town
and when he's drank his fill, I'm gonna gun that bastard down
and now Death waiting for him in this dusty street
vengence is best when its served cold and it sure will taste sweet.

chorus:
Hijo del Diablo your pony's getting slow
I bet my life you're never gonna see ole Mexico.
and you might think I'm too young, but there's something you should know
I'm never gonna rest until I kill....Hijo del Diablo

reprise:
They call me the son of the Devil, they say I'm a desperate man
many men have crossed me and they all died by my hand.
and Death will always follows me where I may go
I guess that's why they call me.. Hijo del Diablo
