Hollywood Daddies And Daughters: How Close Is Too Close?

A spate of recent scandals regarding Dads and Daughters has rocked Hollywood, first there were those shots of Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus looking a little too close for dad and daughter, then Hulk Hogan took things a great deal further by rubbing lotion into his daughter's bare ass and thighs. He has also been seen dating a woman who looks suspiciously like Brooke in many respects (read: large chin, blonde hair), which has added fuel to sordid speculation that all is not quite right in the Hogan clan.

As we travel back in time, things don't exactly improve, Jessica Simpson's dad is famous for making proud comments regarding his daughter's large breasts, and Woody Allen went over and above and actually married his daughter.

It would seem that Hollywood in general has a hard time drawing appropriate lines when it comes to father daughter interaction. So what say you, good people? Are these incidents okay? Or too freaky for words?

Brooke Hogan tried to shrug off the fact that she was caught with her father's hand between her bikinied thighs saying: "I know I'm a grown woman, but it's like he's touching an old car... He used to change my diaper!"

Admittedly, things are not improved in the Hogan family by the fact that younger brother Nick is currently serving time for putting his friend in a coma in a drunk driving accident, and Mom has split from Dad and is now doing the horizontal nasty with a nineteen year old boy who reportedly looks quite a lot like her son.

So are we buying the diaper argument, or is it time for Brooke to find someone else to rub her behind?

This is a hard call. A lot of people have said that this is an inappropriate picture (especially given where her arm is resting), but others think that it is simply a sweet innocent picture of a father and his girl. (A father who later on reportedly left the set and allowed Annie Lebowitz to have his teenage daughter strip naked and wrap herself in a blanket.) The blanket pictures drew a fair amount of flak from critics, but a great deal of people find this picture far more disturbing than the one where it was revealed that teenage girls have backs too. What say you? When is a girl too old to pose resting half way across her father's body with her midriff bared?
